Bill is one of the most experienced CELTA trainers around and has trained teachers all over the world – from Hanoi to Zurich and New York to Khartoum! He was one of the core trainers for International House, Hastings before becoming freelance.
Bill is a regular at IATEFL conferences and has given talks on topics as diverse as ‘organic teaching’ , how to promote quality teacher talk and working with lexis in texts.
He is one of the teachers featured on the DVD accompanying the new edition of Jeremy Harmer’s Principles of English Language Teaching. His lesson features two of his main interests – teaching elementary learners and working on pronunciation.
Outside of ELT, Bill’s main interest is music and he can be found playing guitar and singing in a weekly folk session whenever he is home in Hastings. He travels with guitar and usually manages to find a singing session on his trips abroad.

Simon Marshall English Teacher and Teacher Trainer, CELTA
Simon is a teacher, teacher trainer and author who has contributed towards English Teaching Professional, the Teacher Trainer and many other ELT publications.
He was formerly Director of Teacher Training at Pilgrims, Canterbury, UK and has held similar post of responsibility for the British Council and International House.
He is a well known speaker at international conferences and specializes in the areas of teacher development, the practical implementation of humanistic approaches in the classroom and lexicography.He is also a highly experienced CELTA/DELTA trainer and assessor.
